    Ying Liu is an artist based in Rotterdam. She is also one of the founders of the independent non-profit art(home) space, Platform LivingRoom, in the Netherlands. 

     

    Yiyi You lives in Paris. She studies at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) and works in different roles in the arts, such as editing, translation, writing, project planning and coordination, etc.

    Women are fashioning

     

    Starting from the deconstruction of the tangled relationship between “women” and “fashion” in everyday discourse, “Women are fashioning” examines women’s situation of being fashioned, reveals the pervasive “fashion” from patriarchy, and explores the proactive and continuous “fashion” used by women to imagine, create, and adapt.
