Ten Years commemorates the influential NEWPHOTO magazine, China's first magazine for contemporary photography art, which appeared in four issues from 1996 to 1998. The set includes a facsimile reprint of all four New Photo issues.
A fifth book edited by Wu Hung and Zhang Li includes a preface by RongRong & inri, critical essays by Wu Hung, Karen Smith, Christopher Phillips, Toshio Shimizu, and Zhang Li, as well as artist interviews and a chronology of major events in Chinese contemporary photography from 1976 to 2000. NEWPHOTO: Ten Years is a limited edition of 600 numbered copies, in a custom-made cloth bound box. Published in 2007
