Three Shadows is the most influential photography platform in China, founded by leading photographer couple RongRong (China) and inri (Japan). The Centre is situated in Caochangdi, one of the most dynamic art zones in Beijing. Designed by artist and architect Ai Weiwei, with its unique building and garden, it is famous as a well-located, stylish, and private independent art space.
Space Overview
Three Shadows Photography Art Centre covers an area of 4600 sqm, the main building is a combination of 3 galleries, about 876 sqm in total, surrounded by 2600 sqm of landscaped garden, with full WiFi coverage. The Centre is fully functional, including exhibition halls, galleries, darkroom, classroom, book store, and a cafe shop. About 200,000 visitors come to the Centre each year. There are various spaces suitable for holding events including product launches, meetings, dinners, conferences, team building events, weddings, performances or private parties.

Three Shadows Photography Art Centre is next to the intersection of the northeast 5thRing road and the Airport Expressway, 2 km from 798 Art Zone, with convenient transportation to Sanyuan Bridge or the airport.
The Garden
The garden is covered with trees, grass, benches and other landscape elements. It is flexible to meet various set-up requirements, to create a unique presentation for each event. Whether it’s lighting, video, or mapped elements, the stylish brick wall is an ideal surface for creative, eye-catching visual effects.
