In 2019, I started to plan a one-year painting program: one painting a day for the next year. After testing the subject matter and painting methods, I chose the simplest and easiest way: digital drawing using an iPad and drawing software. In 2020, I read the news on the Internet every day, chose a picture from the news, and drew a painting based on that picture. In one year, I completed 365 paintings. In the following years, I used these digital drawings to make a handmade book, which resulted in the creation of several dozen paintings on paper and canvas. This is a process of remembering and forgetting, and the paintings are the product of this process.
