From a single frame, one constructs its history and its future;
From a single frame, one traces its causality with others;
From a single frame, one tests its potential to be non-itself.
When the gaze touches the image, memory and imagination intervene, stillness is set in motion;
The freeze-frame is no longer a verdict, but the beginning of infinite branchings.
The inertia of narrative pauses, and fixed definitions collapse.
Stories are no longer merely reiterated, in the viewer’s lingering, hesitation, and decision, uncountable versions come into being.
We not only witness the instant, but also observe the birth of transformation, participate in the reconfiguration of meaning, and experience time's undulations.
When a single frame is liberated from its habitual associations, what appears before our eyes - Is it objective fact, or our own projection, or the image's potential yet to be realized?
The image simultaneously presents its surface and refuses singular naming. Within transformation, multiple worlds juxtapose and overlap.
Is bird, not bird.
Is stone, or not stone?
