Wang Binglong traveled all over the country and took more than 1,000 negatives. Perhaps he didn't realize it himself, but he actually created a new art form -- outdoor drama New Year pictures photography, these photos cover almost all the varieties of Chinese local opera, and these visual images also become important materials for the study of Chinese opera. He made opera photography out of the stage and scenery, to the nature, has achieved great success, forming a new art category.

The Foreword is written by Zhang Li, artistic director of the Three Shadows Photography Art Centre, in English and Chinese; 35 Color Seiko Plates; and artist Wang Binglong himself, with a resume of the Chinese and English artists and a production calendar.
