Over the last ten years, the Three Shadows Photography Award has devoted itself to identifying new trends in Chinese photography, placing particular emphasis on artists and artworks with an independent spirit and potential. Through the investigation, organization, and study of Chinese contemporary photography, the Three Shadows Photography Award introduced emerging Chinese contemporary photography to a wider audience, driving the development of Chinese contemporary photography. The Three Shadows Photography Award offers a window for the world to better understand the power and diversity of contemporary photography in China. The book presents the diverse photographic practices of young Chinese artists over the last ten years and a review and summary of the achievements of the Three Shadows Photography Award.
