Located at a classical building from 1706 in Paris, Maison européenne de la photographie (MEP) is known as the center of contemporary photographic art. The MEP collections are representative of international photographic creation from the 1950s to the present day. Consisting of 24,000 photographic works, 110 artists' videos, 800 documentary films and 36,000 printed works, they report on all artistic approaches related to the medium, from reportage to fashion photography and contemporary documentary practices.
